Blacksmiths of Pasir Penambang

They are one of the last few blacksmiths in Malaysia, still shaping metal the traditional way. More than 40 years, his wife has been preparing coal for his furnace. He maintains and shapes knives and machetes for herdsmen and farmers using the traditional way – beating with his bare hands, using coal for fire and quenching metal in cold water to ensure sharpness.
